Stem Girls Education Foundation Uganda (SGEF-U), formerly STEGS Education Trust Fund, was founded in 2010 by Hon. Sylvia Ssinabulya to expand access to quality education for disadvantaged girls. Since then, the foundation has supported over 300 students through scholarships, science resources, mentorship, and STEM-focused programs. Today, SGEF-U continues to empower girls with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while promoting innovation and sustainable development.
